English Martyrs Catholic School and Sixth Form College is looking to appoint a Primary School Teacher. We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Key Stage 1/2 teacher to join our SEND department within a mainstream secondary school setting. The successful candidate will deliver a tailored Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum to small groups of learners working significantly below their chronological age due to a range of additional needs.

In addition, the role involves contributing to the planning and implementation of a pre-formal curriculum for students with profound and complex SEND, ensuring that every learner receives a meaningful and inclusive educational experience.As a Primary School Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey and personal development of young learners during their formative years. This role requires a nurturing, creative, and adaptable educator who is passionate about fostering a love of learning in a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.

You will deliver a tailored Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum to small groups of learners, tailored to meet the diverse needs of your pupils. Through engaging lesson planning, effective classroom management, and continuous assessment, you will support each child’s academic progress, social development, and emotional well-being.

Collaboration is key in this role—you’ll work closely with teaching assistants, senior leaders, and parents to create a cohesive and supportive learning community. Whether you're introducing foundational literacy and numeracy skills or encouraging curiosity through hands-on learning, your impact will be lasting and meaningful.
