We are searching for a Primary Specialist Teacher ready to transition their expertise into the secondary education environment. If you have thrived in a primary setting and are eager to support learners on their secondary school journey, we invite you to join our team.

As an integral member of our teaching staff, you will have the unique opportunity to craft and deliver lessons that ignite curiosity and foster enthusiasm. We prioritise creative and collaborative teaching approaches, supported by our extensive resources and professional guidance. By facilitating effective communication and interaction, you will empower students to articulate their thoughts, engage confidently with peers, and actively participate in their educational journey.

For you, we will support you to develop your practice to teach in a new key stage. As a school, a primary specialist will support us by delivering across the core, and beyond, in Key Stage 3 and supporting students who need help with their reading.

At St Andrew the Apostle School, we cherish the values of teamwork and community engagement. We provide a robust training and induction program to aid your professional development and career advancement. Additionally, you will be part of the pioneering cohort of staff to teach in our new purpose-built facility, scheduled to open in September 2025. This new building features advanced classrooms and is equipped with the most sophisticated educational technology available, offering an excellent environment for both teaching and learning.

If you are confident that you can rise to these challenges, we would welcome an application from you.
