What skills and experience we're looking for
As a Primary Teacher you will teach pupils across the full age and ability of Key Stage 1 & 2 in order to ensure the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development, and well-being.
What the school offers its staff
Willow Green academy is a single-form-entry school situated in Ferrybridge, West Yorkshire. There are approximately 220 pupils on role including 14 part time Nursery pupils. Priding ourselves on our welcoming atmosphere and community ethos we aim to provide our children with rich learning experiences which are designed to develop the whole chid. This is encapsulated in our school motto ‘A childhood of experiences for lifetime of success’.

ASPIRE represents the strands of Achievement, Safety, Pride, Independence, Responsibility and Engagement as these are the core values that drive everything we do. Our aim is that our pupils leave us as well-developed, rounded citizens with strong personal and social and communication skills, with a sense of independence, confidence and identity. They will also possess secure skills and knowledge from across the curriculum with a focus on the importance of strong communication, language and oracy.

Located in Ferrybridge, in the heart of Yorkshire, we are a primary academy entrusted with being the centre of learning for over two-hundred children who range in age from Nursery to Year 6.
