East Garforth Primary Academy is located in the outer east side of Leeds in the community of Garforth. The academy is a slightly larger than average sized academy, catering for pupils from the Early Years Foundation Stage, through Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2. There are currently 257 pupils on roll, including 25 part time Nursery pupils. At East Garforth Academy, we strongly believe in giving individual attention to the needs of the children in our care. We encourage our children to be lifelong learners through the development of life skills, including responsibility, resilience, readiness for learning, resourcefulness and reflectiveness. Learning behaviours are excellent and it is our mission to offer every child a high quality education in a supportive, safe and challenging environment. Through this, children feel valued and respected and aim to be ‘the best they can be’.
