The Governors of Garstang St Thomas Church of England School are looking to appoint a full time, permanent teacher.

Garstang St Thomas School is a popular, over-subscribed primary school in the beautiful market town of Garstang.

The successful candidate will need to be someone who:

  • has a passion for teaching and learning

  • is a team player, able to build successful relationships quickly with pupils, staff and parents / carers

Our recruitment process is in two main parts:

We will invite shortlisted candidates to meet members of our senior leadership team and governors. This will involve very short one-to-one sessions where candidates will be asked interview-style questions.

Successful candidates will then be invited for part two. This will involve a teaching session, a short task and a formal interview (full details will be sent to candidates).
