About Us

Brigantia Hill Fort Academy caters for children aged 2 to 11. All our staff are dedicated to providing a culture of care, through supporting and challengingall our children to create excellence. We ask two things of our children, ‘be kind and work hard’.

This new academy represents a powerful coming together of two communities — Wincobank Nursery and Infant Academy and Concord Junior Academy — into one unified academy, strengthened by our shared history and driven by an exciting vision for the future.

The Role

We require an enthusiastic and talented teacher to join our ambitious team to cover for the absence of a classroom teacher during maternity leave.

As a classroom teacher at Brigantia Hill Fort Academy, you will:

  • Inspire, challenge, and motivate pupils to achieve their best.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that foster curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Maintain high expectations of behaviour and learning.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school.
