Applicants should hold Qualified Teacher Status and have a clear understanding of primary education, including the EYFS and National Curriculum. A strong commitment to safeguarding, professional development, and collaborative working within the Trust is essential.
We are a Rights Respecting School, we place children’s rights at the heart of all we do, ensuring every pupil has a voice, a sense of belonging, and the opportunity to grow in an environment founded on respect, equality and fairness.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking Trust that places pupils at the heart of everything we do. As a growing organisation, Connect Multi-Academy Trust offers staff the chance to contribute to our continued development and success. Our People Strategy underpins our commitment to being a great place to work. We focus on engaging and including all staff, rewarding and recognising their contribution, supporting professional development, and attracting and welcoming the very best people into our schools.
Our work is guided by five values: we are respectful, ambitious, collaborative, inclusive and resilient. These values shape how we work together and how we support both our staff and our pupils to achieve excellence.
Connect Multi-Academy Trust is legally obligated to process a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before making appointments to relevant posts. The DBS check will reveal both spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and bind-overs as well as pending prosecutions, which aren't 'protected' under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 and check to establish that a person is not barred from 'regulated activity' as defined by the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.
Please note that we operate a probationary period of 4 months across all jobs in the Trust (see attached policy for further details). You will receive a comprehensive induction to support you to successfully pass your probation.
