Woodfield Academy are recruiting for a passionate teacher who will be part of the KS2 team and will predominantly teach one class in either Year 5 or 6. We are adopting a primary model for KS2 and welcome applications from teachers with a primary background. The subjects taught will be English, Maths, PSHRE, Geography, History, RE, languages and Science with responsibility for the class as a tutor group. Foundation subjects of PE, Music, DT and Art are taught by our specialist teachers in other areas of the school, but these subjects are available to teach for suitable candidates. Pupils will be taught in the same classroom for the main subjects, so you will have a space to make your own and to engage the pupils.
