Directors and the executive team are looking to recruit a Catholic leader who will
thrive on the challenges and the many rewards of leading this very special school
community to rapid success.
What the school offers its staff
SS Mary and St John’s Catholic Primary Academy is an academy within the St Francis
& St Clare Catholic MAC (Trust) family of 12 schools.
St Francis & St Clare schools are passionate about the city of Wolverhampton, its

to the world in which we live.
We are a deeply collaborative organisation which is determined to grow together to
ensure all children receive an excellent Catholic education.
The Trust was formed just prior to the national pandemic and is growing its Trust
School Improvement Team. The team consists of talented leaders from across our
schools, a full time Trust Improvement Advisor and the CEO. This team is due to
expand further in readiness for September and has commenced formal
Trust-to-Trust relationships with 5 trusts nationally.
Professional development opportunities are varied and ever-increasing as St
Francis & St Clare work with nationally renowned curriculum authors and
internationally respected coaches and public speakers to realise its vision.
SFSC Catholic MAC welcomes conversations from prospective applicants who are
committed to the improvement journey of SS Mary and John’s Catholic Primary and
are able to invest in the valued community, staff and children it serves.
