  • Firstly you’ll be joining a large established Trust of 54 Academies with support and systems in place & a strong track record of putting exceptional education at the heart of our communities. You won't work in isolation, we are a real team.


  • At Boulton Academy you’ll be joining a Good Academy where “the school continues to serve pupils, families and its local community well." And where offers ”pupils a safe haven where they can flourish." Ofsted 2024. Although very much an inner city Academy,  with the excellent outside facilities such as our allotment it certainly doesn't feel like it and there's a real local village style school feel to the academy.


  • As a founding member of the NioT benefit from excellent training and professional development opportunities to continue to progress your Senior Leadership career.    Many of our staff continue to progress into National roles at Oasis and there's not many other educational institutes that can offer these further progression opportunities we can.

About our Principal Role  

You'll be joining us at Oasis a great time. Lot's of work is going on in the Education sector and we're lucky to be playing a key role in shaping this. At Oasis we are a family and you won't just do things in isolation here, you have a team of experienced staff in place all helping to ensure we offer the best opportunities ultimately to our pupils and communities. Benefit from our initiatives such as every child having and laptop and being at the forefront of testing new technologies and ways of work. At an Academy level you'll be joining a "good academy" and we're rightly proud that the school is recognised to serve pupils, families and its local community well. Coming off the back of some really strong SAT's results It's a great position to be in and to build further from.

Our new principal will be key in the next step of our journey which will see all pupils exceling academically and going on a journey of personal growth and talent discovery and going on to be citizens who can contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Recruitment timeline  

We are looking to get the right candidate in role for January 2026. We actively encourage early applications, and position will close on 7th September . Shortlisting will commence the week beginning 8th September with interviews on either Wednesday 17th or Thursday 18th September. Invites to interview will go out a week prior to this.

We are keen to get the right candidate for Oasis and we would like to consider applications for BOTH positions. As part of your application there will be a question asking if you are happy to be considered for both. If this isn't the case , we will still consider applications purely for one opportunity.
