What skills and experience we're looking for
- Demonstrate a clear vision for Catholic education, lead the Catholic life of the academy through devotion to their own faith, and engage with others within the parish and local community.
- Be able to work closely with the local academy and staff to set the academy’s strategic vision.
- Demonstrate resilience and commitment in securing positive outcomes for all pupils.
- Possess excellent inter-personal skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels
- Demonstrate their understanding and awareness of pedagogy and research to improve outcomes for disadvantaged pupils
- Sustain a positive culture with high regard for pupil and staff well-being.
- Contribute to school improvement beyond the academy
What the school offers its staff
The Board of Directors is seeking to appoint a committed, practising Catholic leader who can build on the securely good reputation and standards in our academy. As part of the All Saints Catholic Collegiate our new Principal of St Maria Goretti Catholic Academy, working in partnership with the Diocesan Education Service, should be able to provide clear direction and demonstrate experience and impact of leadership at primary level. The Principal will work closely with the Senior Executive Principal to secure school improvement and best practice for the benefit of all pupils in the MAC.
