What skills and experience we're looking for
As we build on this progress, we are very excited to be recruiting the school’s next Principal who will play a critical role in ensuring the school continues on this trajectory of improvement. In doing so, the Principal will be supported by a fantastic team of staff who always put the needs of their pupils at the heart of everything they do.
Whilst challenging, leading a school is an incredibly rewarding experience and this is no more true than at Whitefield School. As such, pupils make excellent progress during their time at school and it is very gratifying to see them learn and develop new skills, grow in confidence and independence and become fully prepared for the next stage of their education and lives.
This, however, can only be achieved with the clear direction and encouragement from the Principal whose role is to support, challenge and inspire staff to deliver the very best education to their pupils and make a real difference to their lives. We are therefore looking for a dynamic, experienced and inspirational school leader who has the drive and enthusiasm to move the school forward and open up the world to its pupils.
In doing so, the Principal will receive substantial support from Whitefield Academy Trust. As a Trust, we are clear about the importance of enabling each school leader to lead their own school whilst also ensuring a strong ethos of support and joint-working across our schools and services.
Whitefield Academy Trust itself is at a crucial point of its development as we implement our three-year strategic plan.As a member of our Executive Team, Whitefield School’s Principal will play an important role in delivering this plan and we look forward to benefiting from another senior leader’s expertise, experience and drive.
