Principal Learning Support Officer job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational person to join our support team.

We have a relentless focus on working to provide the best possible support and care to each and every one of our students to ensure that they reach their full potential.

You will be joining one of the top performing non-selective schools in the local area, We have a strong focus on high standards and aspirations, built around the simple message that supporting students is the most important thing we do.

The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week, term time only including term time only.

Core Purpose

  • To provide support to the Assistant Headteacher and SENCO allocating and supervising a team of HLTA’s, Senior Support Assistants and Support Assistants. To represent the Assistant Headteacher/SENCO at meetings with parents, carers and with agencies involving children with additional or special educational needs.
