Procurement Administrator job summary
Full Time, All Year Round - 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £25,119 FTE (Central Team Salary Band 2)
Astrea Central is excited to offer a full-time opportunity for a Procurement Administrator to join our dedicated Central Services team. This role is pivotal to ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement activities, supporting both our academies and suppliers with excellence and efficiency. This is a full-time, office based position located at our Academy Trust Head Office.

Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Procurement Administrator, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the Procurement Manager and wider team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
- Coordinating with suppliers and academies to resolve queries and maintain compliance
- Assisting in the preparation of tender documentation and award notices
- Supporting contract management and renewals
- Maintaining accurate records and providing general administrative support
- Delivering a best-in-class procurement service across the Trust
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a busy administrative role
- Is confident using IT systems, including spreadsheets and databases
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Can manage their own time and prioritise tasks effectively
- Is organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Has a can-do attitude and a solution-focused approach
- Understands procurement policies and procedures (desirable)
