Red Kite Learning Trust is seeking to recruit a talented, professional and highly motivated Programme Leader of Music at Harrogate Grammar School. Harrogate Grammar School is an outstanding Teaching School with an extensive variety of opportunities for staff development through the Red Kite Learning Trust. The school is extremely proud of the music department and the facilities available to all our students. The Faculty of Performing Arts is comprised of Music and Drama and has eight teaching staff within the faculty (four of which are in music), support staff, as well a host of peripatetic staff offering instrumental, singing and LAMDA lessons. This is a vibrant team in which huge pride is taken in curricular and extracurricular provision. Resources and accommodation within the department are fully equipped and, in addition to teaching rooms, include a recording studio and three large performing areas. Results in the faculty continue to be excellent which reflects the teaching, support staff and extra-curricular opportunities available for all students.
