What skills and experience we're looking for

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Project Manager - Inclusion to lead a major college-wide project supporting the implementation of SEND reforms across our College Group. This exciting role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the educational experience of learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

You will be responsible for operationalising and delivering a strategic inclusion project, ensuring the successful development of accessible learning environments, technology enhancements, transition programmes, staff training initiatives, and robust systems that improve outcomes for learners with SEND.

Working collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders and external professionals, you will drive project delivery, monitor progress against key milestones, manage resources effectively, and ensure all project objectives are achieved within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the successful delivery of a whole-college inclusion project.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, milestones and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Work closely with internal and external specialists to maximise impact for learners.
  • Manage project resources, including Inclusive Mainstream Fund allocations.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
  • Provide regular progress updates and detailed reports to key stakeholders.
  • Support the College's commitment to equality, diversity, safeguarding and inclusive practice.

Who You Are:

  • A qualification relevant to the role.
  • Experience of project management.
  • Working knowledge of the needs of learners with SEND within an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of SEND reforms and their implications for post-16 education.
