Property Maintenance Operative job summary

About the Role:
As a vital part of the school's operations team, you will l play a key role in ensuring the school’s facilities are well-maintained, safe, and conducive to learning.

Your efforts will help create an environment where students and staff can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance tasks and repairs across the school site
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the school grounds
Assist with the setup and breakdown of school events and activities
Conduct regular health and safety checks to ensure compliance with regulations
Coordinate with external contractors for specialised maintenance needs
Address maintenance requests from staff in a timely manner
Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in a similar maintenance role
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
Basic understanding of health and safety standards
