We are excited to offer an innovative opportunity to join Harbour Learning Trust as a Psychological Practitioner within our Trust Inclusion Team.
Working alongside Educational Psychologists, SENDCos, school leaders and inclusion teams, you will support the development of psychologically informed practice across our schools, helping to strengthen inclusive provision, support early intervention and improve outcomes for children and young people.
To make this vision a reality, we are building a dedicated, flexible team from the ground up—and we need you!
Successful candidates will receive specialist training from experienced Educational Psychologists during the Autumn term, followed by ongoing coaching, supervision and professional development throughout the year. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in Educational Psychology, SEND, inclusion or wider leadership pathways.

Key Responsibilities:
To work alongside Educational Psychologists. SENDCo’s school leaders and staff.
Support the development of psychologically informed practice across our schools.
Strengthen inclusive provision, support early intervention and improve outcomes for children and young people.
Adhering to all school Safeguarding Policies and reporting concerns through the appropriate channels

As Harbour Learning Trust continues to expand its inclusive provision, including Mainstream SEND Hubs and specialist provision, we are investing in expertise from within to strengthen support for children, young people and staff.
We are seeking a patient, kind, and organised individual who shares our belief in education that goes well beyond the academic. We are looking for someone with:
Qualifications: GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent in English and Maths. Degree in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, SEND, Social Sciences or a related field.
Experience: Experience working with children and young people is essential.
Professional knowledge & Understanding:Understanding of child development and learning along with the understanding of inclusion and barriers to learning.
Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with children, families, colleagues and external professionals
Attributes: Caring, patient, and empathetic with a strong commitment to inclusion and supporting the personal growth of students.
