What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a committed and compassionate Pupil and Family Support Worker and Deputy Safeguarding Lead to join our dedicated team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of children and families and who shares our belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils and families to overcome barriers to school engagement, attendance, wellbeing and behaviour. Working closely with school staff, external agencies and families, you will help ensure that all children feel safe, supported and ready to learn.

As Deputy Safeguarding Lead, you will work alongside the Designated Safeguarding Lead to promote a strong culture of safeguarding and wellbeing across the school.

  • Calm, caring and compassionate, with excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to build positive, trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues.

  • Experience with working with children and families and able to work effectively with external agencies.
