The Bedfordshire Schools Trust (BEST) is a multi-academy trust providing exceptional education across our community of 11 schools and five nurseries. Since forming in 2016, we have grown significantly into one of the largest single employers in Central Bedfordshire. We now educate more than 5,000 children across the area, from nursery age to advanced level study. It is our aim to grow the BEST in everyone, and everything we do is driven by our values, but our aims can only be achieved if we recruit, retain and develop the highest quality workforce – and we want those we employ to be valued in the workplace. The first five years of BEST has been a real success story – and we are looking forward to an exciting future, too.
Samuel Whitbread Academy is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiasic individual to support the Data and Examinations Team in a fulfilling Pupil and Data Administrator role.
There are two Pupil and Data Administrator roles within the Academy, with each Administrator responsible for selected year groups (Years 9 and 10, and Years 11,12 and 13). This enables the team to share the varied responsibilities in order to support the Data and Examinations Manager in all aspects of pupil data, admissions, reporting and analysis.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working in a school, experience of using a school MIS (Bromcom or Arbor are preferable) and a high standard of IT skills including word processing, spread sheets and data management. Good interpersonal skills and a high level of effective communication are also beneficial.
This role will involve working closely with the students at Samuel Whitbread Academy and you will be engaging in regulated activity with children.
