The Wulfruna Partnership are seeking to appoint an experienced, passionate and dedicated Pupil & Family Support Lead to join Bantock Primary School’s team.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated Pupil & Family Support Lead from September 2026. You will need to demonstrate a friendly and approachable manner with excellent communication skills and a passion for working with young people.

You will also be expected to commit to any further training and qualifications that become necessary to the role in a rapidly changing educational environment.
The successful candidate :
Take a lead role within the school to address the needs of pupils, parents and families to enable children to overcome barriers to learning and achievement.
To deliver pupil and family support within the school setting for children in all Key Stages as appropriate;
To organise and deliver training to school staff
To support children, young people and their families to enable them to maintain or return to stable emotional well-being. Duties are carried out in accordance within set standards and procedures.
We are looking for a candidate who has:
Good standard of education in English and Maths.
Level 3 qualifications in childcare, social work, counselling or education, along with proven experience working with children & families or equivalent.
Experience working in a primary school setting,
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach.
