What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly dedicated

individual to support pupils, develop their basic skills, overcome

barriers to learning, and assist Academy leaders by promoting

Academy attendance strategies and implementing the

behaviour policy.

The Pupil Mentor will be instrumental in running the pupil

support centre in school. The successful candidate will liaise

with staff regarding pupils that need support with skills,

achieving learning outcomes and/or adopting positive

behaviour for learning by offering one to one or small group

interventions. The role will also offer a mental health and

wellbeing provision by offering a support service to pupils who

are experiencing a wide range of emotional difficulties.
