Are you a present and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Ossett Academy & Accord Sixth Form are seeking to appoint an exceptional Pupil Services Officer to join our dynamic Pastoral Team.
In this vital, hands-on role, you will be a key face of the Academy, driving success by welcoming pupils on site each morning, maintaining our Standards for Success, and ensuring these high benchmarks are upheld throughout the entire school day. Working closely with our Pastoral Year Leaders (PYLs), you will also provide essential administrative support to the department, responding to live incidents in lessons and around site, and directly assisting our teaching staff and pupils.
The ideal candidate will possess a calm, resilient nature, excellent conflict resolution skills and the administrative competence to manage a varied workload.
The position is on a full-time basis working Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.00pm and Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm, with a half an hour unpaid lunch break per day.
This position is temporary for up to one year in the first instance.

Ossett Academy is part of the Accord Multi Academy Trust which is a Wakefield based Trust; all four academies in the Trust are closely located to one another which lends itself to many opportunities to work closely and collaboratively. All academies are within a three-mile radius of one another and can be found a short drive off junction 40 of the M1.
