Pupil Services Support Officer job summary
We are seeking a compassionate, highly organised and professional Pupil Services Support Officer to join our amazing team at Cansfield High School, playing a key role at the heart of our pupil support and safeguarding provision.
Working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and Pastoral and Safeguarding Teams, the postholder will provide a confidential, high‑quality administrative and welfare support service, ensuring accurate and timely record‑keeping in line with agreed procedures, safeguarding requirements and GDPR.
This varied and rewarding role involves supporting pupil wellbeing, coordinating communication with parents and external agencies, managing medical and first aid arrangements, and ensuring students are safe, supported and cared for throughout the school day. You will be a calm, trusted presence for pupils, developing positive relationships based on respect, care and professionalism.
This is a vital role for a detail‑orientated, discreet and pupil‑focused individual, confident in working with staff, families and external agencies, and proactive in supporting a busy safeguarding and pastoral team.
