Pupil Welfare Officer job summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive pastoral support to students across all year groups
- Monitor and support attendance, punctuality, and behaviour
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, carers, and external agencies
- Assist with the implementation of safeguarding procedures
- Work closely with the pastoral and SLT teams to ensure the well-being and personal development of students
- Support the school’s inclusion and equality policies
You will have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, resilient, and empathetic nature
- The ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection (training provided if required)
