What skills and experience we're looking for

You will demonstrate excellent standards in teaching and learning, having worked with SEN pupils for at least 2 years. Have a clear understanding of the needs of SEN pupils and the importance of their attendance. You will be enthusiastic, visionary and solution focused to over-come barriers to pupil attendance and lead other staff in school to raise pupil attendance. You will be an excellent role model to colleagues across the school and demonstrate strong attendance and punctuality.

You will become confident in following the newly updated “working together to improve school attendance” strategy to ensure that all stakeholders are accountable for pupil attendance, ensuring pupils access their right to an education.

Step into a role where every day is an opportunity to spark curiosity, ignite creativity, and shape futures!

You’ll play a vital role in helping our pupils grow into confident young adults, being as independent as possible depending on their needs. You will equip them with the social and life skills they need to thrive in their communities. At the heart of your work will be a commitment to nurturing each child’s individuality and zest for life.

This is more than teaching. It’s transformation. It’s heart. It’s hope.
