About the Role
The Quality, Data and Performance team is looking to appoint a Quality Coordinator to support & drive quality standards and improvement processes within assigned departments at Luminate Education Group.
Working in departments with teaching staff and curriculum management, the Coordinator will provide hands-on support to monitor and improve quality standards in order to meet regulatory requirements, awarding organisation standards, and national benchmarks across classroom and apprenticeship provision, alongside supporting teams to elevate assessment standards and strengthen IQA processes.
While part of the central Quality, Data & Performance team, day-to-day activity is spent directly within assigned curriculum departments across Luminate sites to foster close collaboration and targeted support.
Interviews will be held in November 2026.
What You Will Do
Work as a resident coordinator within curriculum teams to champion high-quality assessment and robust internal quality assurance processes.
Conduct ongoing monitoring activity to ensure consistency, rigour, and compliance across vocational and academic areas in upholding high standards and continuous improvement.
Advise and support teaching personnel and management staff on key quality processes, such as EQA, IQA, course approvals, and complaints - facilitating the sharing of best practice in both classroom and apprenticeship environments.
Support the Programme Manager and Deputy Director of Quality Standards to communicate key information in relation to quality processes, external benchmarks, and awarding organisation standards.
Work closely to support compliance with awarding organisation requirements and use performance data to identify trends and inform targeted improvement strategies.
Provide administrative support where required to ensure successful completion and compliance with quality processes and procedures, such as Quality Performance Reviews, course approvals, EQA, and complaints.
About You
Demonstrated expertise in internal quality assurance (IQA) and effective assessment design within FE or apprenticeship settings.
Proven ability to embed within curriculum departments to coach, mentor, and support staff in improving quality standards.
Experience working with awarding organisations and a commitment to maintaining high standards across all aspects of the learner experience.
Excellent attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to prioritise effectively.
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, along with a proven ability to meet deadlines, are essential.
