What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you passionate about reading and committed to helping young people develop the literacy skills they need to succeed? Starting3rdSeptember or as soon as possible after that date, we are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and inspiring Reading Hub Lead to champion reading across our thriving secondary school.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in raising literacy standards and fostering a culture of reading for pleasure, academic success and lifelong learning.

As Reading Hub Lead, you will lead the development and day-to-day management of our Reading Hub, ensuring it remains an engaging and vibrant learning space for all students. You will work closely with curriculum and inclusion teams to implement the school's reading strategy, promote disciplinary literacy across subjects, and support students who require additional help with reading.
