NOR 177 Are you looking for your next challenge? Do you think you could help change someone’s life for the better? We are seeking to appoint three enthusiastic and positive teaching assistants to join our friendly and inclusive school. Role 1: The successful candidate will be in our Reception class working mainly 1:1 with a child with special educational needs. There will also be some tasks of a general teaching assistant. Role 2: The successful candidate will be working in our Year 1 class in a general teaching assistant role. You may also be working with children with special educational needs. Role 3: The successful candidate will be working in upper KS2 in a general teaching assistant role. You may also be working with children with special educational needs. We are looking for people who are able to forge positive and caring relationships with children with varying needs and abilities, and who are able to communicate effectively with them. The successful candidates should good numeracy and literacy skills, a calm and patient manner and be flexible and adaptable in their work. You will be working 5 days a week Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm and includes half an hour of daily lunchtime supervision. Hours may be negotiable for the right candidate.
