At Christ Church New Malden Primary School the health, safety and well-being of every child is our top priority. We expect all staff, governors and volunteers to share this commitment to safeguarding our pupils.
We listen to our pupils and take seriously what they tell us. All school staff are trained in Child Protection, and children are made aware of the adults they can talk to if they have any concerns. Christ Church New Malden is a Church of England Primary School within the borough of Kingston upon Thames. We admit 52 children into Rainbow Nursery (26 in the morning and 26 in the afternoon) each September.
We are a split site school. Rainbow Nursery is located on our Infant Site on Lime Grove and the Junior site in Elm Road, 5 minutes walk away. This means that each site feels intimate and caring and yet we also benefit from a large staff with a wide range of expertise. Together our two departments provide a rich, creative and challenging curriculum which is tailor-made to the different ages of our children.
Christ Church is an outstanding Church School where the Christian values on which it is founded “unite and inspire both adults and learners” (SIAS).
In our most recent Ofsted, the School was graded as good overall and reported that “plans for development are focused on the right priorities.” We can offer: welcoming and supportive colleagues, governors and parents and “a calm and purposeful environment for learning, characterised by caring relationships between pupils and staff” with “a strong sense of community”,(Ofsted). We are a community that is committed to empowering both children and adults to ‘Become the people God made us to be’.
