St Barnabas and St Philip’s Church of England Primary School is a popular one-form-entry primary school located in the heart of Kensington.
In October 2021 we were inspected by Ofsted and received a Requires Improvement grade, after over 14 years of remaining at Outstanding status. While the judgement came as a disappointment to the school community, governors and senior leaders are determined to address the key points raised in the report and as such have already formed a partnership with an experienced external school improvement partner to bring the school back to an Outstanding status.
As a Church of England School, we share close links with our parish communities at St Barnabas and St Philip’s churches with a Christian ethos central to everything we do. Our core values of Friendship, Trust and Peace underpin school life with a view to ensuring we nurture the social, emotional, and spiritual well-being of pupils alongside providing a challenging and engaging curriculum.
