Reception Teacher. 0.55 Maternity cover job summary
Brixington Primary Academy is seeking to recruit a Reception Teacher (0.55 maternity cover) to start at the end of November/beginning of December.
We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate who:
- Is committed to ensuring that all children achieve the highest possible outcome.
- Can inspire and motivate children and enable them to be the best that they can be.
- Has good curriculum knowledge and preferably with experience of teaching in Reception.
- Has a dedication towards a child-centred approach, with creative ideas for learning opportunities.

Brixington Primary academy is located in the northern edge of the coastal town of Exmouth. The school is fortunate to have a large green space that provides pupils with access to many outdoor opportunities. The school is a member of First Federation Trust and currently works in partnership with 19 schools across Devon and Dorset. It is also part of the Exmouth Learning Community of primary schools.
