We are looking for a confident and motivated individual to take on the role of classroom teaching assistant in Reception. Our priority is to recruit staff who are ambitious for, yet sensitive to the needs of children, whatever their starting points.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday (8.30am - 4.30pm) Friday (8.30am - 3.30pm)

You will have:
- experience and knowledge of how young children learn
- excellent communication skills
- experience of teaching phonics
- the ability to use your own initiative to support the individual needs of children
- the ability to develop positive and supportive relationships with children and their families
- the ability to support the speech and language progress of children from various stages of development
- an understanding of supporting a range of additional needs within school
- the skills to be an excellent team player

Our school is a larger than average infant school, located near the University of East Anglia and in the middle of the dynamic West Earlham community, situated approximately 2.5 miles from the centre of the historic city of Norwich. We have a purpose built nursery which has the capacity for over 100 of our youngest learners. We have educational provision for 2 year olds – 7 year olds
