26.25 hours per week/ term time (working hours 7.45 am - 1.15pm Monday - Friday)

Wallington Primary Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Receptionist/Admin Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team. As the first point of contact for our school, you will play a vital role in providing a warm and professional welcome to pupils, parents, staff, and visitors, as well as supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff, providing a welcoming and professional reception service.

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and enquiries, ensuring they are dealt with efficiently and courteously.

  • Support with general administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records, filing, and data entry.

  • Assist with school communications such as newsletters, notices, and parent correspondence.

  • Provide support for office organisation, including arranging meetings and supporting school events.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.

  • Is highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

  • Has good IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Can work effectively as part of a team and show initiative when required.

  • Ideally has experience in an administrative or customer-facing role (experience in a school environment is desirable but not essential).
