Receptionist/Administration Assistant job summary
37 hours per week
Monday to Thursday (8:15am to 4:30pm) and Friday (8:15am to 4pm) with a 45 minute daily lunch break
All year round (term time only may be considered)
Annual leave entitlement - 23 days plus bank holidays and concessionary days

We are looking to appoint a confident, friendly, committed, and motivated receptionist/administrative assistant to join our busy administration team. You will provide a welcoming and organised reception service that promotes a professional image of the College, and which actively promotes a culture of ongoing vigilance to protect and safeguard our students and staff. You will act as the initial point of contact for incoming phone calls, emails and visitors and ensure that accurate information is passed to the relevant parties in a speedy manner, always maintaining confidentiality. You will also assist with administrative and low-level finance tasks throughout the holidays. You must have a well organised approach to work, excellent communications skills, and be able to plan and prioritise your workload. The school day is fast-paced and can be demanding, therefore previous experience of working in a busy reception environment is essential. You will need strong communication skills to be able to manage conflict situations if they arise.
