Join our Team at Bexton Primary School and Nursery!
Bexton Primary School and Nursery is a wonderful place to work. We pride ourselves on our welcoming and supportive ethos, where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential and develop a true love of learning. Located in the historic market town of Knutsford, our vibrant two-form entry primary school is easily accessible via several motorway networks.
We are looking for a friendly, organised Receptionist and Admin Assistant to cover maternity leave in our busy school office. This fixed-term post runs until the substantive postholder returns, anticipated to be 16th July 2027, with salary paid pro rata for the length of the cover. As the first point of contact for families and visitors, you'll look after reception, parent communications and attendance, administer medication, and co-ordinate school meals and after-school clubs.
The successful candidate will be warm and professional, calm under pressure and highly organised, with a “can do” attitude and great attention to detail. You'll need to be confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, Forms, SharePoint and Teams. Experience of working in a school office would be useful but isn't essential.
In return, at Bexton, we offer:
- A friendly, supportive office team
- A happy, supportive school with a strong team ethos
- Wonderful pupils who work hard
- A commitment to professional growth
