Badocks Wood Primary School is seeking a welcoming, organised, and professional Receptionist to join our friendly team. As the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and supportive school environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing the front office and answering enquiries
- Greeting visitors and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
- Handling calls, emails, and general administration
- Supporting staff and pupils with day-to-day needs
Pay range: SCP3 - £22,367.90 - FTE: £24,796.00 - 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role (school experience desirable but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and email systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
- A positive, calm, and approachable attitude when dealing with pupils, parents, and staff
