Are you a friendly and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Etone College is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our school and a key part of our administrative team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in creating a positive first impression for students, parents, staff, and visitors alike. You’ll help to ensure our reception area runs smoothly and professionally, supporting the wider school community through a variety of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and sign in all visitors, issuing identity badges and providing safeguarding/evacuation information.

  • Handle enquiries efficiently and professionally – in person, by phone, and via email.

  • Accurately take and relay messages to the appropriate staff.

  • Provide first aid to students, staff, and visitors (training will be provided).

  • Support the school’s administrative functions as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A warm, professional, and respectful manner – you’re the first impression of our school!

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Basic qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent).

  • Good IT and keyboard skills, with confidence using office equipment and software packages.

  • A team player with a can-do attitude and attention to detail.
