Receptionist/Events Co-Ordinator job summary
Purpose
The role will involve providing a warm and welcoming first point of contact for all visitors to the Trust offices. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of events and main reception areas, whilst providing administrative support appropriate with this role.
Location
The post will be based at The Gateway,Lowfields Way, Elland, HX5 9DX, however you may be expected to attend meetingsand work from our other Academies and organisations located in Dewsbury, Oldhamand Halifax.
Wider duties
As part of you wider duties andresponsibilities you are required to promote and actively support the Trust’sresponsibilities towards safeguarding. Safeguarding is about keeping people safe and protecting people fromharm, neglect, abuse and injury. It isabout creating safe places, being vigilant and doing something about anyconcerns you might have. It isn’t justabout the very old and the very young, it is about everyone who may bevulnerable.
You are expected to carry out your dutieswith due regard to current and future Trust policies, procedures and relevantlegislation. These will be drawn to yourattention during the recruitment process, induction, staff handbook, ongoingperformance development and through trust communications.
