Receptionist job summary
We are seeking to appoint an efficient and reliable receptionist to join our friendly and enthusiastic Admin team.
The successful candidate will act as first point of contact for all parents, carers and visitors, in addition to working closely with staff and students across the school. Applicants should thrive on working in a busy and varied environment in an interesting and stimulating role.
We are looking for a proactive candidate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates should also have a good level of literacy and numeracy (equivalent to at least a GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English).
Essential skills and qualities required:
- Strong communication skills with ability to take and respond to telephone calls and email communications from parents / agencies
- ICT literate and the ability to use spreadsheets and Excel
- Team player
