The Holt is a popular and oversubscribed 11-16 girls’ and 16-18 co-ed comprehensive school, which converted to academy status in July 2011 and is a single academy trust.

The school was judged ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted in March 2023; there are 1459 students on roll (262 in the Sixth Form).

We are seeking an organised, professional, and self-motivated Receptionist/HR assistant to provide high-quality HR support to the school’s HR manager, plus work as part of a multi-skilled general administration team, providing receptionist, clerical and reprographic services to the school and individual departments. This role is well suited to someone with strong administrative skills who is interested in developing a career in HR.

The successful candidate needs to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, and administrative skills. An ability to work flexibly within a team is also important. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential. Knowledge of the Arbor our Management Information System would also be beneficial but training can be given.
