Receptionist job summary
Learning without Limits Academy Trust is looking to appoint a Trust Receptionist to play a vital role in the smooth running of our central office. This is a key front-facing position, responsible for delivering a professional and welcoming reception service.
As Trust Receptionist you will be the first point of contract for all visitors and enquiries, either in person, on the phone or via email, ensuring a helpful, courteous and efficient experience that reflects the Trust vision and values.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a receptionist role within an education setting, and a strong understanding of the activities that support the effective operation of a Trust central office.
You will be based at our Trust Offices located at Lancaster Academy, working in a fast-paced but supportive environment. You’ll demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and a commitment to going above and beyond in support of colleagues and stakeholders..

This role requires you to be onsite in the Trust Office Monday to Friday, including school holiday periods. There is also the need for some flexibility to support with afterhours meetings and training events taking place at the Trust Office, to be agreed on an ad hoc basis.
You will:
• Have at least 2 years' experience working in an education setting, in a similar role
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Provide a warm, professional and helpful experience for all visitors and staff
• Work accurately and confidentially, with strong attention to detail
• Be proactive and solution-focused, able to manage competing demands
• Be confident using Microsoft 365 and other IT systems
