At Ormiston Sir Stanley Matthews Academy, we are seeking an experienced, reliable and professional individual to join our reception team as a Receptionist. As the first point of contact for the Academy, the successful candidate should have the ability to communicate and build relationships with staff, students and our local community whilst remaining professional at all times.

The ideal candidate will be experienced, confident and proactive in supporting a busy school office environment. Excellent IT and task management skills are essential in order to be successful in this fast paced and varied role.

Key Skills / Main Duties

  • Undertake reception duties, operating the phone and tanoy systems
  • Dealing with face to face enquiries from parents, students, staff and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of SIMS / Synergy would be advantageous but full training will be given
  • First Aid (full training will be given)
  • The ability to multi task whilst remaining calm and professional is a must
