Receptionist (Part Time) job summary

Meadowhead School Academy Trust are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for students, staff, and visitors. We are seeking a friendly and organised receptionist to be the first point of contact for our school community.

The Role:
As the first point of contact at our school, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. You will manage the front office, handle enquiries, and support the school's day-to-day operations.

This role is available on a part time basis working 19.5 hours per week over 3 days. We offer flexibility with the working hours however, as a guide we are looking for the successful candidate to be available to work:

Working Hours:

  • Monday: 9:00 am - 3:00pm

  • Thursday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

  • Plus either Wednesday or Friday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome students, staff, parents, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Answer incoming calls and emails, providing accurate information or redirecting as necessary.

  • Support staff with general office duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

    • Provide cover where required for our Student Services Reception team

    Person Specification:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.

    • Experience in an administrative role, ideally in a school or educational setting, is desirable

      • Experience of supporting Student Services with First Aid is desirable but not essential
