Receptionist - Part time, Term time job summary

Hours of work: Wednesday 12-4pm, Thursday and Friday 8am-4pm (including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break) = 19 hours per week
Main duties include:
- The provision of reception service to all enquirers, in person, electronically and on the telephone. This includes greeting visitors and signing them in order to ensure adequate safeguarding.
- Maintaining and monitoring pupil database, class lists and official school register
- Updating safeguarding documents and information relating to external agency workers
- Contact with parents around attendance/punctuality including first day absence
- Word processing for school staff and governors.

Knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be given.
