We are seeking a friendly, organised and proactive individual to join our busy school office team as a Receptionist, Admin and Reprographics Assistant. This is a varied role where you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, while also supporting staff with a range of administrative and reprographics tasks to ensure the smooth running of the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a welcoming and professional reception service for visitors, parents and staff.
  • Handle incoming calls and messages promptly and courteously.
  • Manage deliveries and signing-in procedures.
  • Support staff with printing, photocopying and document production, ensuring high quality and cost-effective output.
  • Maintain reprographics equipment and stock levels, liaising with service engineers when required.
  • Assist with the preparation of booklets and official documents for school events.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the administrative team to meet deadlines and support school operations.

As a small secondary school in the area, we have built a unique sense of community based on our Christian values. This a place where everyone - students and staff alike - look out for everyone else. Our children are exceptionally loyal to their teachers, yet that loyalty has to be earned, so you’ll need great people skills and a real passion for supporting young people.

One of our greatest strengths is our exceptionally rich extracurricular programme, including the Greenpower racing team and Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. In short, we do whatever it takes to realise our pupils’ potential and we’re confident we’ll soon capture your imagination.

You can also expect some outstanding facilities and opportunities, including a two-week October half term, access to an indoor swimming pool, and the chance to participate in overseas excursions including ski trips. What’s more, you’ll be based in elegant Dorking in the heart of the beautiful Surrey hills, with excellent travel connections and easy access to London.

If you are excited by an opportunity to make a difference and join a school that is on a journey of rapid improvement with the challenge and learning that brings, then we would love to meet and welcome you to our team.
