Recruitment Partner job summary
If you have recruitment experience, we would love to hear from you. Whilst this is recruitment in Education, and Education sector knowledge is desirable, it is not essential. We recognise the intellectual diversity that working in other sectors brings to the Trust and appointing the right person, who will create real value is what is important to us.
Working under the leadership of the Head of People you will be required to;
Work alongside the People Partners and academy/central leadership teams, understanding the workforce planning requirements and budget, based on curriculum-led financial planning (CLFP).
Build strong relationships with with academy operations managers.
Support the development of the Trust induction and induction events as required.
Take accountability for the full recruitment process including vacancy sign off, role profile development, drafting and promoting adverts, supporting candidate screening, interview scheduling/preparation, onboarding requirements, delivering a best-in-class service.
Write creative role ‘hooks’ to highlight the role profile ad provide support and feedback on role profiles as required.
Create recruitment marketing content, that is creative and vibrant to maximise campaign engagement and reach.
Maintain a relationship with candidates as they onboard as employees during probationary periods, to maximise the employee experience.
Maintain accurate and up to date candidate information in the application tracking system (ATS) and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Deliver a robust internal vacancy and application process to maximise visibility of opportunities to existing employees.
Continual development of policies and documents as part of continual improvement.
Plan and organise a calendar of recruitment events in collaboration with colleagues, including careers fairs, university events and creative events.
Collaborate with Trust learning and development to support the recruitment and placement of trainee teachers.
Actively seek out and promote the Astrea talent pool for potential candidates, both actively looking and the passive candidate market.
Support the provision of accurate key recruitment data and metrics, including time to fill, diversity and application traffic.
Manage and maintain excellent relationships with our recruitment advertising platform partners, delivering insightful reporting on campaign reach, data and areas of improvement.
Work with People Partners on employee lifecycles, and creative and innovative recruitment methods, minimising the use of supply cover for long term vacancies.
Monitor and maintain cost to hire, seeking to decrease year on year.
Support relationships with approved agencies on the approved supply chain.
Remain abreast of recruitment sector challenges and insights for education.
Carry out internal audits as required.
Comply with safer recruitment practice in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).
Remain appraised of worker regulations, right to work and associated legal and statutory compliance.
All roles are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS (disclosure and barring service) check.
