What skills and experience we're looking for

Redmoor Academy has a long-standing reputation as an excellent school that provides a high-quality education for all students, high expectations both in and out of the classroom and superb pastoral care. Our overarching aim of “Excellence, opportunities and success for all,” perfectly captures our aspirational and inclusive ethos.

Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Primary School Practitioner to work within our secondary setting, playing a key role in supporting our SENDCo in driving forward inclusive practice across the school. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will contribute to raising standards of literacy and numeracy across Key Stage 3, particularly for students with SEND and those facing barriers to learning.

You will play a key role in supporting high-quality CPD for teachers, improving the consistency and effectiveness of literacy and numeracy teaching across KS3. In addition, you will undertake outreach work with feeder primary schools, supporting improved outcomes for Year 5 and Year 6 pupils prior to transition to Redmoor Academy.

We offer an environment where an ambitious and innovative practitioner will thrive and develop. You will support our drive to create exceptional educational experiences and demonstrate a strong aptitude for working with students to overcome barriers to learning.
