About the Role


We are seeking a calm, empathetic, and highly organised Reflection Centre Manager to join our dedicated team at St Francis of Assisi. The Reflection Centre plays a crucial role in supporting students to reflect on their behaviour, understand expectations, and re-engage with learning in a positive and productive way.


As the Reflection Centre Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the centre, working closely with pastoral and teaching staff to ensure that students receive the support and guidance they need to make positive changes.


Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee the daily running of the Reflection Centre, maintaining a calm and purposeful environment.
  • Supervise and support students who are referred to the centre due to behavioural issues or pastoral concerns.
  • Facilitate reflective conversations with students to help them understand and improve their behaviour.
  • Work with teaching and pastoral staff to develop and monitor behaviour support plans.
  • Promote positive behaviour, resilience, and personal responsibility.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have


  • Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or youth work setting.
  • Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills.
  • A calm, consistent, and supportive approach.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
  • A genuine commitment to supporting students to reach their full potential.
