What skills and experience we're looking for

We are now looking for a Refocus Room Supervisor at Maiden Erlegh School in Reading.

The aim of the Refocus Room is to support students in making positive choices with regards to attitudes to learning, with the objective of re-setting students and getting them back into a positive mindset and learning environment. We are seeking someone with a creative flair, who thinks ‘outside the box’ and is not fazed by potentially challenging situations.

The successful applicant will be energetic and enthusiastic and enjoy working with 11-16-year-olds. You will enjoy nurturing young people to grow in confidence and flourish personally. You will share our inclusive values of “opportunity, diversity and success for all” and you will have a willingness to develop your own practice in line with our ethos of continuous improvement.
